DALLAS — Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant received a criminal trespass warning from off-duty police officers at NorthPark Center on Saturday night after being involved in a disturbance.
According to the official police report, Bryant and three friends were stopped by the uniformed, off-duty officers working security shortly before 8 p.m. at the popular shopping center after they were observed “wearing their pants halfway down their hips exposing their underwear.”
I swear it wasn’t that long ago that I was roaming the halls of Spencer Butte Middle School and 90% of the male population sported jeans sagging half way down their asses (with some lame ass chain attaching wallet to belt – never will get that).
So it’s ok to do that in school 15 years ago and now Dallas Cowboys are getting harassed by police with nothing better to do preserving the sanctity of a shopping center? More proof that while our society would be a shit show without law enforcement, they also serve as account managers for the city/state/government.
